Cosy Log Cabin

Lovely, tranquil retreat on the road to Llansteffan, three miles from Carmarthen. The log cabin is at the far end of a large lily pond within the grounds of our three-acre garden. Features include a log burner, fluffy bathrobes, slippers and towels, DVD library, large box of games, private deck and garden area overlooking the pond, BBQ and outdoor lighting. NB: the Cosy Cabin does not have WiFi. It is not suitable for children under the age of 12 because of the log burner and the large pond. The space The log cabin is perfect for a rural getaway providing a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's a great base from which to explore south west Wales and cosy nights in with the wood burner will also help you to unwind and recharge the batteries! While the cabin is compact, the three rooms are stylishly designed for comfort as well as for practical living with everything you need to make your stay relaxing. The main room combines the living space and kitchen and features a wood burning stove (we provide all the wood you may need). The cabin is fully insulated but if you feel a bit chilly there are additional electric heaters. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook up a feast, oils and condiments provided. You will be able to settle in as soon as you arrive with a selection of teas, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits! The bedroom and bathroom are accessed from the living room; bedding, bathrobes and fluffy towels are provided for our guests. Addition Guests: Right next to the cabin is a small, fully furnished annexe with its own entrance. It sleeps one or two people and has ensuite bathroom (but no kitchen). If you require use of the annexe there is a supplementary charge of £45 per night which includes our cleaning fee. This must be requested in advance and paid for on arrival. The annexe is not rented out separately from the Cosy Cabin. Please note: the Cosy Cabin accommodates two people maximum. Guest access The cabin is completely self contained with its own deck overlooking the lily pond and a private garden with stunning views over the river Towy. The cabin is accessed via a path alongside the pond (with night lighting). From our garden you can access the neighbouring forest paths should you wish to go for a walk or run. Other things to note If you need to do any emergency clothes washing / drying we can give you access to our utility room, attached to our house. While there is no wifi access to the internet for our guests, there is a good mobile signal in the log cabin for 4G access. The log cabin is not designed for small children - specifically the large pond is not child safe and therefore we only accept accompanied children over the age of 16 years.
