Upper Lookout, Bucks Mills - Sea Views/Coastpath

A beautiful, rustic, fisherman's cottage which has been much loved and cherished by our family for over 40 years. It is in a very quiet village with the South West Coastal Path running past the front door and unlimited views of the sea. Our extended family has loved this cottage for over 40 years and we hope you will look after and respect it. Bucks Mills is a beautiful, safe and quiet village. The cottage has three bedrooms - the main double bedroom has unlimited views of the sea through large windows and an en suite shower room. There is then a smaller double bedroom with views of the sea from one window and of the village from the other. There is also a twin bedded room which has the bathroom attached to it - this includes a bath with an integrated shower. The kitchen is fully appointed with an oven, hob and microwave. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine available for use. The dining table seats 6 and has views out over Bideford Bay towards Lundy Island. The sitting room has a small television and a large inglenook fireplace. There is Wifi. The cottage has a small front terraced garden - perfect for coffee on sunny mornings and a balcony with bbq area with endless views of the sea - perfect for watching the sunsets and star-gazing. Guest access There is a steep cobbled path to get to the front door and so it is not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. Parking is available up the lane but you cannot park outside the cottage. Unloading of the car is possible at the bottom of the cobbled path but you must then park further up the lane. Other things to note The balcony can get very slippery and is not somewhere to leave children unattended. It is rustic - and not suited to people expecting a boutique hotel style break with all the mod-cons.……but more suited to people with a love of outstanding natural beauty and in search of respite from busy lives. Please note that, in line with "getting away from it all", the wifi connection can be patchy.
