Our building is located in the center of Manhattan near Empire State Building on 31st ST with Broadway Ave(Next to the K-Town). Walking distance to everything. Every major tourist destinations reachable via major public transportation including subways and buses, as well as car service and NYC taxi. (It may be different depending on the weather condition) - The heat is by a boiler regulated by the city during winter months. There is no temperature controller inside the apartment(Controlled by the building management). An extra portable heater is provided for in case. - Laundromat(pay per use) is located on the ground floor and It’s running with a laundry card, - Iron and Iron Board will be provided in advance request. Other things to note * It is recommended to bring a slipper. The floor is old wood, and some guests may feel uncomfortable and dirty with the texture of the floor. However we always do a vacuum and, wipe it down after every guest checks out Winter Room Heating Information - When central heating is on, there are pipes that conduct the steam. Because of this, the pipes may generate sometimes "banging "noise, but this is typical. - When the central heating system is on, steam is circulated through pipes. Because of this, you may occasionally hear banging noises from the pipes. This is normal and typical in buildings with central heating. - Our property uses a central heating system with radiators, which are controlled solely by building management. - As a result, the room may sometimes feel too warm or occasionally cool. If the room feels too warm and your room is equipped with A/C, please feel free to use it. If there is no A/C, we recommend opening the window for ventilation. Bringing light sleepwear (shorts and short-sleeve tops) may also be helpful.
