Description

Lovely comfy bungalow 10 minutes from the Helford estuary, Lizard peninsula & the stunning town of falmouth with gorgeous harbour, seafront & beaches, where there is amazing eateries, pubs and lots of independent retailers. The bungalow itself is in the heart of Constantine, with beautiful walks right on your doorstep & a very chilled & quiet house! Well behaved dogs & their humans are very welcome! The space 3 bedrooms, one bathroom and a separate toilet. Fully equipped kitchen, lots of room inside and out. With large secure dog friendly garden. With a sundeck for lounging around in the sunshine. sleeps up to 5 in the bedrooms, 2 kings beds and one single. There is also a travel cot for use by prior arrangement please. The cooker is an aga, so cooks everything beautifully, it takes a little longer but burns nothing & even the worst of cooks leave loving it.... in the summer we’ve a BBQ for your use, please ask if you wish it left out for you. Guest access the whole house, kitchen, bathrooms & garden, the garage for storage on prior request only for bike and board storage Other things to note Please note that during the summer months we are trying to do check ins/outs on any day but Saturdays wherever possible due to not being able to get our meticulous cleaners on that day Please email for specific requests, if in doubt 😊 The bungalow is in the main road in the village but don’t worry it’s not a busy main road you see a car every few minutes when it’s busy, but usually it’s a quiet road that is 10 minutes to Penryn, Falmouth & Helston, lots of lovely walks right on the doorstep! And you can even call into the local social club for a cut price beer or G&T Constantine stores has one of the largest collections of wines beers and spirits in the country, so anything you fancy trying give the shop a try it truly is a great stop We are looking forward to you arriving soon You should be greeted by the cleaner but if she’s gone there is a key box to get in & is by the front door Please take off all shoes when entering the house, we say this as the carpet is lovely and thick so lovely under your toes & helps maintain the carpet & stops the spread of germs from sneaking in🦠 ☺️ The aga will heat the water & oven, it’s permanently on. It’s very hot so please use carefully. If it should rain it’s great for drying wet clothes quickly. But the weather looks lush for your stay The village is very safe leave all the windows wide open and you’ll get a nice breeze. Food prepared in the aga is delicious, it runs at one constant temperature so cooking is simple, pop it in and cook, bacon & pizza takes 10-15 minutes, so I have a tendency of checking everything every 10 15 minutes. It won’t burn things but it will dry things out eventually. Any issues give me a bell. It stays on at all times so no pressing of fiddling with anything. The Wi-fi code is in the router Please enjoy your stay. Any questions I’m on the end of a phone. If you could strip the beds please when you leave and leave them all in the bath that would be great, also please leave the windows open so as to ventilate the place for the cleaner. I say to people if they fancy stopping at a beach bar on route to go to porthtowan and the blue bar it is fantastic local food and outstanding views and beach. also porthcurno & porthtowan, Maenporth in falmouth are great beaches , as well as kynance cove🥰 Lots of walks right on the doorstep & a play area for the kids just over the playing field opposite Try and get to the trengilly pub for a bite and walk to Scott’s quay on route , it’s fantastic, and a lovely walk there. Or drive to the ferry boat inn and the kids / doggo can play on the beach whilst you eat. If you want a lovely woodland walk from the house Come out the gate turn right walk 20/30 yards turn right down trebarvah Lane, the gate at the end that’s usually shut, go through and walk down a partially overgrown lane when you get to the gate down the slope at the other end turn left and walk along there through the woods do a big circuit and come up by the bridge and stream the other end It’s my favourite place for forgetting about life in the world. So enjoy it , I miss it terribly ☺️ so have lots of fun and let me know if any problems or advice needed Enjoy your stay 💚💜
