This beautifully converted, semi-detached, 200 year-old stone barn is in the picturesque village of Keig, Aberdeenshire - 35 minutes drive from Aberdeen Airport. Perfectly situated for hillwalking, cycling, golfing, fishing, castle and whisky trails, Royal Deeside and the Cairngorm National Park, this spacious holiday let has open views to the river Don and is surrounded by the rolling hills of the Vale of Alford and the Bennachie range; offering a home from home and a tonic for busy lives. The space The spacious accommodation is self contained with a private entrance and comprises; two double bedrooms with king size beds, one twin bedroom, a lounge, a bathroom, a shower room, and a large open plan kitchen dining room. The kitchen features a hand painted wooden units, limestone floor, rangemaster double oven, induction hob, microwave, larder cupboard and large dining table. The living room has fantastic views to the river, has comfortable seating for 6, and features a wood-burning stove (with complementary logs). Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and there are two smart TV's - one in the Lounge and one in the Master Bedroom. Guests are welcome to use the extensive garden areas, which include a secluded and secure front garden (which is a sun trap) and a large rear garden with a picnic bench, children's swing and climbing frame. There is access to the garage to store bikes and dogs are very welcome by prior arrangement. Guest access Guests have full access to the whole house. Other things to note COVID-19 We have signed up to Airbnb's Cleaning Protocol, which has been developed by experts in health and hospitality to create a step-by-step cleaning guide which we are following.
