Walking distance to Cheney Stadium, and easy access to the freeway make downtown Tacoma, Seattle, Gig Harbor, University Place or other nearby locales an easy drive. Bus lines nearby with direct routes to downtown, the mall and transfer stations for easy access to Seattle. We are a welcoming environment and look forward to meeting you. The space The bedroom is quiet and sports a queen-sized bed, nightstands with reading lamps, a small writing desk, a comfortable chair, extra blankets and closet space. There is a portable heater and a ceiling fan for comfort. The bathroom is adjacent and fresh linens and towels are supplied. A TV with an Amazon Fire Stick is mounted on the wall for your entertainment. Hulu, Prime Video and a few other streaming services are provided, or you can log in with your own. Guest access Enjoy your quiet space. During the warmer months the back door is often open during the day, making easy access to the deck where you can enjoy the yard. The kitchen is available for small meal preparation and room can be made in the fridge/freezer for storage (please label your food). You're welcome to play the piano, please wash hands first and observe the needs of others in the house. Some areas of the house are not common spaces - please observe privacy for all. During your stay I am available to help if you need something, though I'm often busy around town as well. Let me know what you need and I'll try to accommodate. I'm always willing to try and make things right rather than hear afterwards that something was amiss. The cats will definitely interact, as much as you let them. Other things to note Two indoor/outdoor cats live here but are not allowed inside the guest room. Free parking is available on the street. Easy access to/from Seattle and SeaTac airport via mass transit. Walking distance to Cheney Stadium, home to the Tacoma Rainiers minor league baseball team, Tacoma Defiance & Reign Football Clubs.
