Description

Hotel Riad Tadarte is a family run establishment located in the heart of Hassilabied, a traditional desert village in the Sahara dunes. The backdrop of the high dunes of Erg Chebbi bathed in a red gold sunset glow make it a magical place to stay. The space Riad Tadarte is located in the centre of a traditional adobe Ksar a few kilometers from Merzouga and next to the high dune of Erg Chebbi, famous for its spectacular sunsets. It is very clean and well maintained. Rooms are with typical Berber furnishings, colourful carpets and decorations. Food is home cooked and authentic. Prices are per person, per night.Rooms are either double with a single, twin or triple. All have ensuite shower and flushing toilet. There is a typical moroccan salon for relaxing and eating or enjoying tea, a large room for dining, the roof terrace and and inner courtyard giving plenty of spaces to choose from. there is a large private parking area and a place to camp if you like. Classes for cooking can also be arranged here to learn about the local cuisine. Guest access Most of the house is available to guests with a fantastic roof terrace where you can enjoy the views of the dunes or spend a night under the stars. During your stay The owners / staff are available 24 / 7. There are many opportunities to discover the region with them as your guides, they have many years of local knowledge. There is also the availability to spend one or more nights in their desert bivouac and enjoy the magical experience of the sunset camel trek over the dunes to the nomad camp. Other things to note During the month of Ramadan guests are very welcome and their meals are prepared as normal. Breakfast is always included, if you would like dinner or lunch please let the staff know and they will be happy to cater for your needs, food is local and traditional, fresh and delicious.
