There's a wood-burning stove to ward off the chill and is a fabulous feature to return to after a day exploring the many historic Abbeys, gardens and houses of the local Border towns. The property is all on one level with easy, level access from the car park. The views are wonderful over the pretty cottage garden to the fields beyond. Come and wander through the surrounding fields and riverside from your cottage, or just sit and relax while admiring the wonderful rural views and amazing birds in the cottage garden. Begrum cottage has twin beds in the bedroom which can be set up as a superking bed if requested, and a double sofa bed in the living room. Please ask about a travel cot which can be situated in the living room or bedroom. Begrum cottage has it's own private, south-facing conservatory overlooking the cottage garden with views towards the Cheviot hills. We supply plenty of homegrown wood for your wood-burning stove.
