Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs. The space **Now with a wood fired sauna available by prior arrangement. It is set outside of your garden and in our young orchard with views over the sugarloaf. Just £20 per sauna session** There is a 50square metre outdoor patio area with benches, table and chairs coffee table dining chair and table, and cushions. Of course a bbq too! We do also have a yurt at the far end of the orchard which we can arrange to rent out by prior arrangement, It can easily sleep another two. Bathroom facilities are in the house. There is also an outside area for wet weather gear and bikes. Guest access You will need transport. There is no problem with parking. And we can lend you kayaks if you can transport them to water. Other things to note The sofa bed is a double and is excellent. It is ideal for kids or an extra person. In the summer months we are happy to rent the yurt out too.
