An ideal place for those who enjoy forest and mountain tranquility, a paradise for families and nature lovers. The house is furnished with charm: a living room with tiled stove and large dining table and sofa bed, a kitchen with wood and electric stove, toilet with shower and on the upper floor two closed bedrooms and a connecting room – ideal for up to 6 people. You have to bring your own bath towels, drinks and food. Otherwise, everything is there, except you won't find the TV – and you won't miss it. RATES Prices are for 2 people. Each additional person 12 years and older, per night: + CHF 30.00 BEDROOMS A narrow staircase leads to the upper floor with two closed bedrooms and a passage room. You will put the linens on yourself – wherever you want to sleep. Large room: 1 double bed, 160 x 200 cm 2 mattresses on slatted base in the attic, 90 x 200 cm Small room: 1 mattress on slatted frame in the attic, 160 x 200 cm Walk-through room: 1 mattress on slatted frame in the roof loft, 160 x 200 cm CHECK IN By appointment from 2 pm. You will need to carry your luggage across the meadow and up a steep forest path for a few minutes to the house. If the house is available, an earlier arrival can also be arranged. For the mountain road you need a driving permit, which we will give you at the meeting point. If the house is available, a later departure can also be arranged. From the garage you walk across the meadow to the edge of the forest, from there a forest path leads to the house. SHOPPING By car you will be in 15 minutes in Kriens with many shopping possibilities, in 20 minutes in the city of Lucerne. SURROUNDINGS The house has no direct neighbors and stands on a hill on the edge of the forest. Nearby are two day restaurants, attractive children's playgrounds and countless walking and hiking trails. On the "Fräckmüntegg" you can visit a challenging rope park and a summer toboggan run. And on the Pilatus you will experience a breathtaking view over Central Switzerland all year round. KITCHEN A large kitchen with wood and electric stove invites you to cook and bake together. Everything is there: sugar, salt and pepper and some spices, some oil and vinegar, plates, cups, cutlery and glasses, cooking and baking utensils, blender, toaster, raclette oven, fondue pan, dishwashing detergent and dish towels. The water from the tap is clean drinking water. BATHROOM Please bring your own bath towels. Otherwise everything is there: toilet paper, shower with hot water, sink, mirror cabinet, emergency kit. LIVING A bright room with tiled stove, large dining table and a cozy sofa bed. Games for young and old are in the closet. COFFEE A coffee maker and pots are provided. Please put CHF 1.00 in the register per coffee. Wifi If you wish, you can turn on the WLAN box, it is in the closet in the living room, the code is on the box. SCHOPF In the annex you will find garden tables, chairs, seat cushions and hammocks as well as accessories for outdoor grilling. CELLAR An external staircase leads to the cool basement, which can be used as a beverage and food storage room. There you will also find tools, power cables, garden tools and other things. PETS Disposable wipes for cleaning the paws are in the cleaning closet and after cleaning the house please do not leave any dog hair behind and also check the surroundings. GARAGE Your garage with forecourt is located below the house on the mountain road. The left garage and the forecourt are for you. Please leave the right side free. WASTE We provide waste bags for a fee. There is a waste container at the nearby “Bergbeizli & Naturfreundehaus Krienseregg”. See photo of waste container For paper, glass and cans, there is a small disposal point 100 meters below the valley station. Guest access The whole house and the surroundings are just for you. For the mountain road you need a driving permit, which we will give you at the meeting point. Check-in by appointment from 2 pm. You will need to carry your luggage up the meadow and a steep forest path for a few minutes to the house. The forest road directly to the house is only accessible in dry weather with an off-road vehicle. If the house is available, an earlier arrival time can also be arranged. Other things to note The specified price is for 2 guests. Each additional person from 12 years, per night + CHF 30. You do the house cleaning yourself. We expect the house to be left as clean, smoky and tidy as you found it again. Please leave the bed linen and used kitchen and cleaning towels in the anteroom. You can throw the garbage in the waste container at the large free parking lot, 150 meters below the Artstätte Burestübli restaurant. The recycled glass collection point is 100 meters below the valley station, to the left after the pedestrian crossing. You are also welcome to refill the stacked firewood in the kitchen.
