A traditional country pub with a nice relaxed feel,set at the foot of the black mountains, next to the brecon beacons,a truely amazing part of the world. Perfect for wedding guests,exploring,hiking and cycling and much more. We have 7 rooms which are all ensuite, we offer a range of sleeping arrangements. single,twin,double and family rooms. The pub consits of the main bar two restraunts, large games room, great patio with lots of covered area. Free parking provided in the car park. The space Room prices are based on two people sharing, which includes a full English or continental breakfast. A choice of Twin or Double Bedrooms are available - please specify when booking. We have a total of 7 Bedrooms, able to accommodate 16 persons in total. A price reduction for single room occupancy may be available, please ring to discuss further. Children of all ages welcome, and catered for, please ring with any special requirements and cost details. Breakfast is optional extra served from 7:30am to 9:30am Guest access Guests can access the B&B at all times through separate entrance at the rear of the pub. B&B can also be accessed through main entrance of pub. If arriving out of pub opening hours, please ring for prior arrangements. During your stay There will always be someone to help throughout the day. Please see emergency contact details located in all rooms. Other things to note If you wanting your morning paper or days supplies the village shop and Post office is 50 yards from pub. Only 10 miles from the popular town, Hay-On-Wye. If your walking the Offas Dyke path then we can arrange for a taxi and Luggage transfer at extra cost, please ask on booking. We are 12 miles from Abergavenny train station. We are 17 miles from the city of Hereford Private fishing can also be arranged on the popular Eskley and Monnow rivers. We are very luck to have a wide range of activities on our doorstep, which offer fun for all ages while in the area. There are also plenty of attractions in the area. all of these are easily found with a local search or please just ask.
