Welcome to a farmhouse style guest house built in the late 1800's located in the village of Utica-an hour east of Columbus and the entrance of Amish Country byway to Holmes County-an hour away. It is conveniently located on the corner of State Rt. 62 and 13...busy and noisy intersection; but cozy, private, and relaxing inside. You have the apartment to yourself-large kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee bar, as well as pastries, snacks, and diy breakfasts available. The space Living room, welcome room with a desk to work at and two bedrooms upstairs-the Garden Room and the Tuxedo Room, each containing a queen bed, closets, and chairs to relax in. Updated bathroom with cast iron pedestal tub on the main floor. Enjoy coffee or a cold drink at the bistro table on the porch. Plenty of off street parking. There are several family friendly restaurants/pizza shops within walking distance. Utica boasts several gift/antique/thrift shops and Ye Olde Mill-home of Velvet Ice Cream which is a mile down the road. The famed Ice Cream Festival takes place every year on Memorial Day weekend, and the Utica Homecoming happens on Labor Day weekend. Dennison University, COTC, Kenyon College, and Mt. Vernon Nazarene University are located about 20 minutes away. Watch for horse and buggies, and enjoy a day or two in Utica! Guest access You have the complete apartment to yourself, including the small, entrance porch. Back porch is private, but the front porch is also now available for your enjoyment. Other things to note Bathroom is on main floor, while bedrooms are on second floor.
