The Studio is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature, with fantastic views of the sea and surrounding fields. The open plan living space is flooded with light and offers all the modern comfort you need for a recharging break and base for interesting trips in the area. Refurbished with tender, loving and thoughtful care the hosts would like to offer you a place with a special feel good factor. With a wood burner it’s also a warm, cosy nest in the colder seasons. The space It is an ideal space for two people. The bedroom has either a big double (1,80 wide x 1,90 m long) or twin beds (90 cm x 1,90m). A cot and highchair is available for infants. (There is an extra charge for infants of £7 per night. This is not part of the AirBnB calculation and will be invoiced for separately.) The main living area consists of an open plan kitchen with breakfast bar. ( Cows occasionally greet you from the other side of the wall). A big sofa and a wood burner invite you to relax and still enjoy the beautiful views at any time of the year. The dining area in the sun room and the patio areas give you full view of the sea and the sky with their ever changing displays of colours. The bedroom is with en-suite bathroom with shower; the WC is separate and accessible from the corridor. The washing machine is in a small utility room. Tucked away behind the studio is a seating area which offers full privacy. At night it is also a fantastic space for star gazing with minimal light pollution. There is parking for one car at the bottom of the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. In the summer home grown vegetables, herbs and produce can be purchased depending on availability. The hosts live right next to the studio and are happy to help if needed but your privacy is top priority. Shops, cafés and pubs are 1.5 miles away, big supermarkets between 16 and 20 miles. Available in the area: - hire of surf soft boards, belly boards, kayaks ( summer only, depending on sea conditions and prior experience) - coasteering, kayaking - lessons on classical violin (beginner) or cello (any level), instruments are available, no prior experience needed - Studio recording Places to explore within short walk or drive: -King Arthur’s castle (re-opening in the summer after completion of the new foot bridge) -Stunning waterfall at St Nectan’s Glen with Cafe -Boscastle with a beautiful natural harbor -Stunning beaches, a paradise for surfers -Beautiful walks on the Cornish coast path or in woodlands Other points of interest: - bike hire at Camel trail - visits of stately homes and gardens (National Trust and English Heritage) - Eden Project - Bodmin Moor with stunning views - Truro with a beautiful cathedral - Bodmin Moor and Jamaica Inn - Fishing village Port Isaac (Doc Martin's "home") Guest access There is free parking at the bottom of the garden. From there it is about 40 m walk through the garden to the Studio. A wheel barrow is available for any luggage and the hosts help with checking in and out in most cases.
