Description
Light, spacious and homely 1-bed flat on the popular and vibrant North St, with lots of house plants and a roof terrace, walking distance from the centre. The space Situated in one of the most artistic and proudly independent areas of Bristol, close to both the centre and the beautiful surrounding countryside. The flat has a large double bedroom, bathroom (shower over bath), kitchen, living/dining room (with dedicated desk space), and a roof terrace (accessed from the bedroom). The space is homely and bright, with plenty of natural light and house plants. It's a corner property that overlooks the high street, so is right in the middle of action. However, it's still a residential area of the city and the flat is relatively quiet (the bedroom is at the back of the property away from the road). There are lots of plants and herbs on the roof terrace and over the summer months we enjoy growing a few vegetables, which guests are welcome to. This is our home which we rent out whilst away (we travel lots for work), so there are our own belongings around. However, we lock the majority of our stuff away to provide space for you. The property is above a restaurant, open Mondays-Saturdays until 10pm. It's a neighbourhood restaurant called COR, one of the best in Bristol that serves excellent food from renowned chefs. You can sometimes hear a little noise (kitchen prep, chatter, music, clearing up) but they are usually finished/out and locked up by 11:30pm. Any sound that occasionally leaks through is generally only audible when all other sound in the flat is at zero, i.e. you can't hear it when watching TV or having a conversation. Parking info below in 'Getting Around' section. Guest access You'll have exclusive access to the whole flat including the roof terrace. Other things to note Please note, there are not facilities for babies/young children, e.g. cots, cupboard locks, soft edges, high chair, etc., and some of our furniture is unsafe for them. We don't mind infants staying in the flat if you're prepared to take full responsibility for them, any equipment they require and their safety. Please let us know when submitting booking request whether you have children or babies.
