The space The house is a large country home built over 200 years ago by a local farmer and has been conservatively renovated by master craftsmen under the guidance of an art historian. It has been deliberately preserved as it was in the past and is furnished consistently; the collections of objects and decorations make it one of a kind. It has been featured in numerous magazines for its unique restoration. The house is full of memorabilia and rich in history, making it a magical place with a strong identity. However, it also features some modern comforts. The result is a historic residence of great charm, where wood and stone meet in harmony with nature. Upon entering, you are immersed in lost sensations, where time stands still in a fairytale atmosphere. The house has a low environmental impact, using almost exclusively recycled materials. We have an ecological and sustainable approach. We are careful about waste and live in harmony with nature. We take great care of our home and want our guests to have a wonderful experience, connecting with themselves and with nature. It is ideal for those seeking a simple experience, in contact with nature, in a responsible way of traveling that respects the natural environment and its history, enhancing encounters and relationships with the local area. Ideal for spending time slowly, sipping a good wine, meditating, reading, and walking in the woods. It is a place of inspiration for those who love writing, playing music, and painting. Countless trails branch out in the area, inviting you to run and walk in the woods on trails and cycling paths, or for short or moderate hikes or mountain bike rides. The Karst caves are a point of interest worth exploring. The bike-friendly train takes you easily to Lakes Bled and Bohinj. Osmice are a typical food and wine experience of the Karst region; these private homes offer homemade cured meats and wines for those who want to enjoy simple, traditional fare. There are no typical entertainment and leisure attractions nearby. There are no shops in the area; the nearest market is three kilometers away. There is no air conditioning, and the typical country insects are plentiful. Guest access Guests will have private access to the entire house. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen with dining area, a summer kitchen with BBQ, swimming pool, and outdoor hot shower, a tavern with football table, and a service room with toilette. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with two single beds and three bedrooms with double beds. Upstairs, there are two full bathrooms and a large living room. Ideal for nature and country lovers. Other things to note This beautiful home features all the comforts of home, including a fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms, central heating, a TV with internet, Wi-Fi, and a washing machine. There's a large pool in the fenced courtyard, perfect for cooling off on hot summer days.
