Close to the Vosges family ski resorts as well as paragliding sites. The space Room layout: there are three bedrooms on the front of the house (stream side), bedroom 1 is accessible from the kitchen and bedroom 3 by a staircase up from the charri (the barn); bedroom 2 is accessible from either of these rooms. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are located at the back of the house (path side), bedroom 5 is accessible by crossing bedroom 4. Other things to note The main heater is a wood pellet boiler (automatic filling), which also produces hot water. The wood fire in the dining room fireplace is nice in all seasons, and that of the stove very useful for grilling breakfast toast! Upon your arrival, a person welcomes you, introduces you to the house and carries out with you the reading of the meters of pellets and electricity (at the entrance and at the exit in the accommodation). Electricity rate: 0.25 euros per kWh. Wood pellet rate: 0.60 euros per kilo. These rates, indicative, may be adjusted during the day. 12 euros per bed will be requested for linen, unless you prefer to bring your own (to be specified when booking). That includes bed sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases as well as towels; it's up to everyone to make their own bed. Cleaning must be done before your departure, otherwise (and by notifying in advance) a supplement of 100 euros will be requested. Cleaning includes: vacuum everywhere (central vacuum), remove the sheets and put them on the bed, fold the duvets, clean the bathrooms and toilets, put the chairs on the dining and kitchen tables and mop, remove the garbage cans. These fees (pellets, electricity, linens, cleaning) are to be paid upon checkout, by check or cash. Access is via a dirt road and can be difficult in winter after heavy snowfall (we are 600 m above sea level), but the road is cleared if necessary by the municipality of Thillot. Finally, at certain times of the year, a few sheep are close to the house, in a gated park; they are good eco-friendly lawnmowers that usually pose no problem of cohabitation!
