This freshly renovated apartment was a former farmland motel and is a true labor of love - It’s been reimagined with comfort, charm, and style in mind. Cozy, clean and thoughtfully decorated, it’s the perfect home base for exploring all Lancaster has to offer. Nestled among peaceful farmland but just minutes from the highway, tourist hot spots, and a few of my favorite hidden gems (feel free to ask!). The space Welcome to apartment #4 - a cozy, light-filled apartment designed for travelers who appreciate comfort with a touch of character. This space is part of a former farmer’s motel turned boutique getaway, and every detail has been thoughtfully updated to create a relaxing and cozy retreat. Inside, you’ll find clean, modern finishes with subtle nods to Lancaster’s rural roots. A comfy queen bed, well-equipped kitchen, and curated décor make it ideal for solo travelers, couples, or friends looking to explore the area. Tucked toward the back of the property, Room #4 offers a little extra privacy while still being just steps from two shared outdoor spaces, including fire pits and a patio with grill. Whether you’re heading out to see the covered bridges or staying in with a good book, this is the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Simple. Peaceful. Lancaster at its best. Guest access You’ll have full private access to Room #4 during your stay, giving you a quiet, comfortable space to call your own. Just outside, feel free to enjoy two beautiful shared outdoor areas - perfect for sipping coffee, grilling dinner, or gathering around the fire pit under the stars. The yard offers plenty of space to unwind and take in the peaceful farmland setting. Whether you’re feeling social or seeking solitude, there’s a spot here just for you. Other things to note Everyone’s welcome here - whether you’re a weekend wanderer, slow traveler, or just passing through Amish country. All I ask is that you treat the space with the same care you’d give your own (or maybe even your grandma’s living room). To tread a little lighter on the planet, I use eco-friendly cleaning products and sustainable paper goods. A portion of your stay is donated to support clean water initiatives, climate action and also towards the Lancaster Farmland Trust to help preserve neighboring farms - so your visit gives back, too. I’ve been inspired by the hospitality of hosts around the world (that’s when I first discovered Airbnb and felt right at home, even though I was far from my own). My goal was to create a warm, inviting and inspirational place for you to stay… I hope that you feel that and feel right at home too.
