Chevreuse valley stopover, 4-8 people

STOPOVER GITE on the edge of the Rambouillet forest, on the 1st FLOOR of a space renewed in 2020 (~40m2 under roof). It includes a living room (kitchen, dining) leading to a dormitory (3 to 6 beds), 2 showers, 1 WC, and a small attic double bedroom. WIRELESS. Free parking. Ideal for hikers, families, wedding guests, cyclists. Location NOT suitable for parties. Warning: steep access staircase. No television. Possible coupling with the "studio+ of the lime tree" for more beds. The space Possibility of increasing up to 10 travelers with an additional bedroom (see photos, weekend only). The appartement can also be booked with the studio+ du tilleul (same address, capacity 1-4 people, see my other ad), which increases the total capacity to 14 people on the 2 cottages. This is an non-smoking guest house. This stopover gite is well suited for people looking for good value for money for short stays, or for visiting the region or Paris (1 hour door to door by train or car). It is not suitable for staying indoors for a long time and in large numbers or for parties. For 7 people and above, it must be considered that it is a temporary accommodation (dormitory), practical for sleeping, less suitable for spending time indoors. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday entry into the cottage is from 4 p.m. (earlier possible on request and if there are no visitors the day before). Departure the next day is before noon. On other days, there are professional activities during the day on the ground floor of the gite building. So as not to disturb each other, entry into the cottage is then from 7 p.m. for a departure the next day before 9 a.m. These conditions can be adjusted during school holidays. The kitchen is equipped with a sink, two electric hobs, a fridge, a microwave and grill, a coffee maker, a kettle, and a dishwasher. Crockery and basic products available. The double bedroom is small but comfortable ( low access door) The dormitory room has 4 single pull-out beds that can be converted into double beds or 2 single beds. Please note that the 8-bedded config in the dormitoryis more like a refuge (but confortable) and is suitable if you plan to stay outdoors (walks, cycling, etc.), visit Paris (1h door to door by train por car), ou just stay for the night. A supplement will be requested for 7 people and above (25 euros / pers./ night). Possibilmity to host 10 people with an etra bedroom (see pictures, only during week-ends) Free WIFI. No television device. A garden table with integrated bench is available in the courtyard leading to the gite. Please note, access to the cottage is via a fairly steep staircase with a handrail. Electric vehicle charging station available (15kW max, extra cost). Possibility to also rent a room with access to WC and a room on the ground floor with WC and accessibility for people with reduced mobility (extra cost). A 55m2 activity room (hard floor or tatami mats) can be lent to members of the mutual aid group (GEM maison du tilleul) depending on availability and the project. Parties and birthdays are excluded. A large free public car park is located in front of the cottage guaranteeing parking. The cottage has a shelter for your bikes if you have any. The bus stop for line 4 (Rambouillet-Limours) is located 100m from the cottage (traffic only during the week and Saturday mornings during school periods).
