Rustic waterfront Adirondack housekeeping cabin vacation rental with a dock. A short drive (3 miles) from the downtown Village of Saranac Lake and you'll feel like you've wandered into waterfront woods - into an idyllic setting to rest, relax and get away from it all. The space This cabin is available for weekly rental in the summer, and nightly in the spring and fall, is waterfront and pet friendly ($150 fee paid upon arrival, not collected by AirBNB). Two Bedrooms each have a double bed including mattress covers and pillows. Guests need to bring linens, blankets and towels. Convenient Kitchen has access to the exterior deck which has a picnic table, chairs and lake views. The kitchen has a gas cooking stove/oven, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, sink, cooking utensils, flatware and dishes (service for 7). Kitchen, Living and Dining Room Combination has two picture windows with a view of the water. It also has a love seat, dresser, large table with chairs, wood stove and electric monitor heater. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove/oven, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, sink, cooking utensils, flatware and dishes (service for 5). Bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower stall also has an outhouse for use as a 'second bathroom' for more daring guests. Linens, cleaning, etc… Camp Terry is a housekeeping cabin rental which means there is no maid service. We encourage guests to bring refillable water bottles and DISCOURAGE the kind that you throw away (the ones that are filling up our landfills!). Outdoor Items: bug spray, good walking shoes, life vests for boaters/swimmers, flashlights, binoculars, camera, area map, hiking/trail maps, fishing maps Kitchen/Cooking Items: charcoal for grill, food, water bottles for excursions, cooler with ice (refrigerators are in each rental except the lean-to; however, to avoid having to make ice, some guests choose to bring their own) Entertainment: cards, board games, imagination! Note: cabins do NOT have TVs, phones or Internet. Nearby Common areas do have Internet/Wi-Fi access and a phone land line available 24/7. Navigation: map, compass or watch with compass Sun Protections: sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses, sun-shielding hat and clothing Other: headlamp, extra batteries, jacket or vest, first-aid supplies, knife or multi-tool, fishing/hunting permits, toilet paper, camera, two-way radios Veteran campers bring things in laundry baskets and/or transparent boxes with lids - you can then store things underneath the beds! Guest access Guests rent the entire cabin. Guests can enjoy all of the cabins exterior spaces (waterfront, dock, deck). Other things to note The lake is amazing and you'll be able to rent a canoe, kayak or rowboat for your stay. Pets are allowed with a $150 non-refundable pet fee but you'll need to agree to our pet policy. Feel free to ask for details on our pet policy!
