The Pretty Hayloft

Welcome to our home. Set in a small hamlet of 4 houses, in beautiful countryside, Le Jolie Grenier à Foin (The Pretty Hayloft) is an 18th century cottage and hayloft which has been lovingly renovated by my partner and I. The cottage is comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated retaining its traditional character with handmade bespoke features. Guests have exclusive use of the adjoining courtyard, gas BBQ & garden(short walk 40 paces, no road to cross), with pool (seasonal) & sun loungers The space Our place is great for relaxing, birdwatching, nature watching and on a clear night stargazing. It's also great for cycling (route 42), walking and numerous other activities such as horse riding, golf, fishing, water sports and historical places of interest, all just a short drive away. Games such as badminton, boules and more are provided for children. If you fancy a shopping spree then the cities of Limoges and Angoulême are within 45 minutes drive. Guest access Private entrance, with parking area. Private fenced courtyard with outside cooking area (gas BBQ), patio table and chairs. Exclusive use of swimming pool in the garden opposite the property (which is also fenced), sun loungers and beach towels provided. The garden is a very short walk (40 paces) from the cottage courtyard and does not involve crossing a road. Other things to note NEW FOR 2024…signal boosters fitted….Wifi (satellite) is available throughout the gite and courtyard. No stair gate provided, so you will need to bring your own if you require one. Vaccinated pets accepted by prior arrangement only and are subject to an additional charge of 15 euros per pet, per stay (or week). Any disruption, noise, closure of facilities which is outside of our control can not be claimed for. Complimentary welcome pack for bookings of 5 nights or more. Security deposit - if you damage the home you may be charged up to €200. Winter months only (March, April, October) wood for the log burner is provided free of charge.
