Nestled behind a hill, it is perched on a rocky spur and stretches from its southern end to the north where the church and tower, survivors of feudal times, are the guardians of the silence and beauty of these places. It is surrounded and preserved by the reliefs of Onglon, Serre du Foin, Montlaud rocks, Fournache and Linseuil. It is watched over by Les Plates, the Serre de Chanteperdrix, the Buisses, Piervon and the rock of Jeanne. The Combebelle, Pié Béraud, Combe de Naye, Chapion and Pessier spring streams flow. The Rieu Frais heads towards the neighboring village of Sainte-Jalle.
