Old houses attached to THE BIG HOUSE (listing BIG HOUSE OF JUNCAIS) transformed into small independent apartments, which are: - the Lower House has 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (which can be joined to make one), 1 toilet, living room, kitchenet and salamander and has a capacity for 2 people; - Paradise 1 has 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (which can be combined to make one), 1 toilet, living room, kitchenet, salamander and has a capacity for 2 people; - Paradise 2 has 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 toilet, living room, kitchenet, salamander and has a capacity for 2 people. Guests will have access to the games room, billiards, ping-pong, foosball, bicycles and pool. Guests are provided with information about places to visit, where to eat, which way to go… and someone from the House is always nearby for any support they may need. It is located in the center of the village, constituting one side of the main square, in an area of 5444 m2 of surface. Located in Serra da Estrela a few kilometres from Penhas Douradas, in an area of Castles and Historical Villages, where you can hike on signposted trails, venture into Parapente (in the nearby Historical Village of Linhares) or cool off on the river beaches of Mondego and Zêzere. In the region the gastronomic offer maintains the authenticity of the old days, with dishes such as goat with myscars, rice from Carqueja, fish of the river in escabeche and pudding with greles, not forgetting rye bread, great olive oil and Dão wine.
