Sunny spot of Scharnitz, 4 km to Mittenwald, 8 km to Seefeld, 900 meters to train station The space Scharnitz in the Olympic Region Seefeld is considered to be the gate to the Alpine Park Karwendel. As gate to the Alpine Park Karwendel and its wide variety of hiking destinations, this villages is a perfect place for active holidays. Scharnitz is also known as base station for kayaking, perfect for those who seek the thrill at the Isar river. Other things to note Please note the local city tax (Ortstaxe) of 3,5 EUR per adult. Kids 0-15 years old are free from the city tax. This money will be collected in cash during the stay and is not included in the price.
