Mill View offers a charming, characterful accommodation with all of the comforts of home, in a private and secure one bed bungalow cottage. A comfortable base, tucked away in the quaint countryside. Perfect for walking, cycling, exploring Tarka country and close to a variety of breath-taking beaches. The space A romantic, thoughtfully furnished barn conversion, with original features including exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. Equipped to a high standard to welcome two guests; entering the property, guests come into the open plan living and dining area with wood burner for those cooler evenings. Leading into a separate kitchen area, bathroom with shower, and light, airy double bedroom. The tiny kitchen features essential appliances and is ideal for holiday use. The small bathroom includes competent shower and instant hot water. Private parking immediately outside the cottage for 1 car. Please note for dog owners; outside space to the cottage is not enclosed. Small but pretty paddock with seating area only steps away with access to a stream. Guest access The cottage enjoys a quiet, secluded location in the picturesque Devonshire countryside. With breath-taking views up to the local golf club and common green, and stretching across the vast rolling hills. Step out onto the Tarka Trail and walk along the river, enjoy long, scenic cycle/walking routes as far as Bideford, Instow, Fremington, Barnstaple and many more. Situated in Torrington, and just 10 minutes from Bideford, there is also easy access to all the amenities of town living. There are a variety of beaches and seaside just on the door step, the popular Westward Ho! as the closest. Plus Clovelly, Appledore, Instow, Braunton, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde all just a short drive away. Other things to note The cottage marks the 'end house' on a small group of privately owned, residential cottages, lovingly converted by the hosts in 2006. We have cats and 1 Labrador dog kept in our private yard (separate to, but visible from Mill View). We hope you enjoy the space and the beautiful surroundings as much as we do.
