This newly Renovated Home has everything you will need to enjoy your stay with us. It’s a private home with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full size washer and dryer, sitting area, cozy living room, spacious screen porch which is a great place to read or enjoy a meal, also a modern kitchen open to the dining room with a beautiful fireplace and sitting area. The space Originally built as a school house, the exact year in unclear but believed to be around 1835. This home has gone through many transformations and most recently a extensive renovation and complete update.We offer our guests a private home which includes 2 bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds and plenty of storage and closet space and a sitting area in each room,2 bathrooms one upstairs with a shower tub and large vanity and another bathroom downstairs with a stand up shower. We have a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. On the main floor there is a reading/ sitting area which can also be converted into another sleeping space. The living room is a great place to relax or to warm up next to our double sided field stone gas fireplace! We have a wonderful screen porch which is great for visiting or enjoying a meal with family or friends. Our spacious kitchen/ dining room area has everything you will need for your stay, brand new full size stainless steel appliances,fridge,oven,microwave and even a dishwasher. Also a coffee maker and toaster. During the summer months relax outside on the front porch or in the backyard on the patio while grilling something delicious on the barbecue. We have ample private parking. Whether your interested in skiing or hiking or just a casual walk on the Robert frost trails, we are located near many outside activities. We are also just 15 minutes from Middlebury where you can enjoy a great meal from one of our local restaurants or do a little shopping, we are 20 minutes from Middlebury college which has many different events and a wonderful golf course for those that may be interested. For those that like to ski the Middlebury snow bowl is only 10 minutes up the road and Just past that the long trail for the adventurous hikers. This cozy home in Ripton is in a great location and easily accessible from RT 125. You will feel right at home here!
