Description

Award-winning luxurious canvas lodges sleeping 6 people in Devon's Axe Valley alongside the River Axe. Lodges with 3 separate bedrooms, kitchens & fridge, twin burner gas hob, ensuite bathrooms & hot running water; proper beds with electric blankets, elec lights/usb sockets, wood burning stoves keeping you snug and warm. Onsite honesty shop, covered communal area for pizza nights, farm animal feeding, a play park & gym, and a dog field on site. 3 lodges also have new bookable woodfired hot tubs. The space You can meet and feed the animals, collect the eggs, help with farming duties, or simply use us as a base to explore the beautiful countryside. Guests can come along to pizza nights held twice a week or book one of our new hot tubs where you’re not just taking a dip, you’re discovering a sanctuary or retreat that’s all yours. A place of calm that washes away the stress and strain of everyday life, leaving you happier, revived, and recharged. We hope we have created the perfect family or romantic getaway, or somewhere special to spend time chilling with friends. Coastal and Country themed lodges with luxury indulgence with country charm. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage HQ is located just outside Axminster and his Canteen in Axminster itself is a great place for lunch, dinner, or even just a coffee. Lyme Regis is also home to The RockFish restaurant. If the country or beach walks, or food are not your cup of tea then perhaps antique hunting is? Axminster is home to superb antique and second-hand shops and every Sunday afternoon Axminster plays host to a generous car-boot sale where plenty of gems can be found. Honiton is only a few miles away and its famous high street is lined with antique shops. 2 dogs allowed payable direct at £25 each to owner. Other things to note Lower Keats Glamping is set in Devon farmland and in places the land is uneven and the field is on a slight incline, so please make sure that your party are aware of this and wear suitable footwear. There are no paved paths to the lodges, therefore three wheel pushchairs may be more suitable than buggies. The lodges are 30-100 metres from the luggage drop off area - remember then all luggage will have to be transported across the field to the lodge in a wheel barrow! We recommend that you bring wellies or crocs as they can be easily kicked off on the decks before entering the lodge.
