Peace and tranquility await you in Zeekoevlei at our remodelled ground floor apartment, which was once a store shed for boats. The apartment with its own terrace, pool, and garden looks out over the lake with its abundance and variety of birds. Zeekoevlei is a part of the False Bay Nature Reserve and is next to Rondevlei Nature Reserve with its hippos, nature walks and bird hides. Yet, by car, we are 30 minutes from the centre of Cape Town and only one hour from Stellenbosch and its winelands. The space The apartment is on the ground floor and the owners live on the second floor. The apartment has its own private entrance and is totally separated from the owners living space. 111 sq, m. apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living room, and kitchen. Laundry in adjacent room with washing machine. The main bedroom has super king-sized bed 180 X 200 (can be made up as two singles if desired), and the second bedroom has two single beds. Both rooms have ample cupboard space – shelving and hanging space. Each bathroom has a shower, toilet, wash basin. All towels and sheets are provided. The living room has a dining area and lounge area. The kitchen is fully equipped and has fridge-freezer, electric stove and oven, dish washer, microwave, crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, ironing board and iron. A variety of spices plus cooking oil, tea and coffee are provided. The dining table seats up to eight, as does the lounge area, which also has flat screen for watching Netflix, or YouTube. Double doors lead onto the terrace which has table and chairs for al fresco eating, and gas barbecue. The terrace surrounds the swimming pool which is for your exclusive use, and the garden is a wonderful place for just sitting down with your favourite drink and watching the water birds come and go.
