loft in the heart of Tuscan Chianti

Dear guests, Finally, you can start thinking about spending some time on vacation, with family, friends, or alone... I am working hard to organize new cleaning criteria for the house and for linen using products that are recognized as effective for "sanitizing". Furthermore, Gaiole, Chianti and Siena are areas that have been practically untouched, fortunately for us, by the infections; this means that the human climate is tangibly serene and cordial, anything but tense and suspicious. The space In the countryside, 5/10 minutes from Gaiole/Radda in Chianti and 25 minutes from Siena, a bright apartment renovated, starting from a stable, by a Milanese architect for his sister (that is, for me!) and his family. The renovation has a warm and linear style, favoring open spaces and light: wood on the floor, large French doors, a large fireplace... We lived there for 10 years, then we moved to Siena for the school and activities of our 3 children; then we decided to renovate our beloved home and offer it for more or less short rentals. But we continue to live in it when it is free and for part of the summer, sharing it with friends near and far: it is a beloved home full of life for us. It is a house that in itself justifies a vacation, large fireplace, large spaces, lush garden and... wonderful private pool (shared with 4 other neighbors) a stone's throw away, close to the woods. Around the area of the Sienese Chianti, with its mountains and villages. Ideal for mountain biking and beautiful walks through vineyards and hills directly outside the house, we can also provide you with information and contacts to organize tasting tours in some of the most interesting wineries in Chianti. As well as, it will be my pleasure to send you a list with the restaurants and places in my opinion most pleasant of the surroundings. And then, you will be one step away, Siena, Florence, Arezzo, Crete... I wanted to equip the house to easily and happily accommodate children, even the youngest (possibility of a high chair, cot, games...), but our house can also be a romantic retreat for a couple traveling. Only the swimming pool is shared with 5 other families in the neighborhood: we are organized in a club and manage it together. But it's never very busy, and the people are all nice. You get to the pool by exiting the back door of our house, and walking 30/40 meters of the dirt road... Very easy! Other things to note COVID-19 EMERGENCY: We are doing our best to be very attentive to the cleaning and sanitization of the house and the linen; in addition, there will also be regulations for the use of the pool (for example, how many people can be in the pool at the same time; the assignment of sunbeds; the obligation to shower before entering...) that I will take care to provide to my guests.
