Great family house, Costa Brava

Tourism registration: HUTG-021231 The space JULY AND AUGUST: MINIMUM STAY OF 6 NIGHTS The house is located in the center of the village of Serra de Daró, 30 km east of Girona and 9 km from the beaches of the Costa Brava. The house consists of a ground floor and two floors, a private garden and heating. The ground floor has two full bathrooms (one with a shower and the other with a bathtub). It also has a living room with a washer and dryer and a shelf with children's toys. On the ground floor there is also a living room with a wood stove, a double sofa bed and a TV. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds. There is also a walk-through room equipped with a double sofa bed and a small sink without a shower. The kitchen is also on the first floor and is fully equipped, also featuring a fireplace. On the second floor there is a living room overlooking the fields around the village and in the distance you can also see Montgrí and the Medes Islands. This room does not have heating. On this second floor there is also a terrace and a small room with a single bed. The garden is equipped with an outdoor table and chairs to celebrate meals or dinners "al fresco". The house also has a barbecue. Serra de Daró is a small rural village ideal for children to play in the garden of the house as well as in the streets of the village, without worrying about traffic. The town of Torroella de Montgrí is 4 km away. It is famous for its International Classical Music Festival and has supermarkets, bars, restaurants, a medical center, banks, museums, and a very active commercial fabric. Other nearby towns are Ullastret, Peratallada, Pals, L'Escala, and La Bisbal d'Empordà. YOUR VACATION IN SERRA DE DARO HAS A DIFFERENT ATTRACTION THAN MANY OTHER DESTINATIONS ON THE COSTA BRAVA. Serra de Daró is an excellent destination to enjoy the beach, especially scuba diving and snorkeling in the Medas Islands (Estartit), kite surfing, cycling, horseback riding or simply walking through the surrounding hills and the Massís del Montgrí and enjoy the spectacular scenery. It is also a good destination for a golf vacation, with several courses that are within a 15 km radius of the town, or parachuting and enjoying the Wind Tunnel, located in Empuriabrava, 20 km away. PLACES TO VISIT DURING YOUR VACATION IN SERRA DE DARÓ. Depending on your interests, there are many other cities and towns worth visiting during your stay in Serra de Daró. Girona and Figueres (the birthplace of Salvador Dalí), both 30 km away, are the nearest major cities. It is also a 45-minute drive from La Garrotxa and its volcanoes and 100 km from Barcelona. There are many coastal spots in this area of Catalonia, where you will find some of the best beaches in the region, such as Begur, 15 km away. THE WEATHER IN SERRA DE DARÓ. Tourists heading to Serra de Daró in July and August can expect temperatures around 30ºC, which are ideal if you plan to spend most of your time on the Costa Brava beaches. If you're planning a more active vacation, consider going in early June or late September, when temperatures drop a bit but sunny days are almost guaranteed.
