Welcome to The Bothy ! A recently renovated barn space forming a stunning 1 bed apartment enjoying spectacular views across local countryside. The property consists of a beautiful bedroom with superking bed (can also be set up as twin single beds) with views over a walled garden. The living area has a new kitchen and sitting room with woodburning stove. Located just 7 miles from St Andrews you can enjoy the tranquil location within easy reach of the historic town 10 minutes drive away. The space The Bothy is located in the upstairs part of a new barn conversion above an original carriage house. Traditionally a Bothy is a resting place for weary travellers however we have renovated the space to a much higher standard ! You enter downstairs into a hallway area (which is only accessed by Bothy Guests and us, the Hosts). Climb the wooden stairs to The Bothy front door and enter in to your private space. Enjoy a lovely bedroom with superking bed (or twin single beds if you prefer) which overlooks the walled garden and woodland beyond. The bathroom is ensuite and has a power shower and corner bath, wash hand basin and WC as well as beautiful tiles and underfloor heating to keep you cosy on the cooler days. The living space is at the front of the apartment and has the most amazing view over surrounding countryside. Sit back and relax on the oversized sofa with the wood burning stove in front of you ! The kitchen forms part of the open plan living space and has all modern conveniences and is fully equipped including fridge freezer and microwave. There is a dining area with round table and 4 chairs. The Bothy is ideal for 2 people. Guest access The Bothy (main entrance door up a flight of stairs) is only accessed by guests. The front entrance (downstairs) can also be accessed by the host family. Adjacent to The Bothy main entrance is a door to a studio space which is only used by the host. The garden space is to share but please respect our privacy and that of The Beehouse next door. Other things to note The Beehouse is a 3 bedroom house opposite The Bothy and available for self catering holidays as well. There is ample parking on the property but we may ask you to move your vehicle so we can access our spaces as well Registration Details FI 00362 P
