Stay in a century-old mountain cave, naturally fresh and cosy. 160x200 bed with cotton bed linen, two raw wood and fabric armchairs, books available. Private bathroom with shower, sink, and dry toilet (eco-friendly products provided). Naturally ideal temperature year-round, quiet fan. Important : -Regular toilets available in a shared bathroom 10 meters away. -A fabric screen separates room from bathroom. The space Welcome to a peaceful and authentic place — perfect for slow travelers and nature lovers. Our two lovingly restored caves open onto a sunny patio and an outdoor lounge area where time slows down, inviting you to relax, read, or simply be present. A fully equipped guest kitchen is available, with everything you need to prepare simple, healthy, plant-based meals. Organic olive oil, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, and spices are always at hand, as well as filtered water (reverse osmosis). We encourage mindful living: recycling, composting, and reducing waste are part of daily life here. Enjoy sunrise or stargazing from the small terrace while listening to the night birds. Further down the property: a natural pond, sun loungers, a vegetable garden, fruit trees, and quiet corners to rest or meditate — all inviting you to slow down and reconnect. And of course, our five gentle cats and one friendly dog — the true soul of this place — will likely come by to greet you. A simple, sustainable, and authentic hideaway for conscious travelers seeking connection with nature, simplicity, and themselves. Guest access Guests are free to access all areas of the property. We live on site, in the house next to the cave space. It’s our private area, but if you're curious, we’d be happy to show it to you! During your stay I’m usually somewhere around, fixing up an old stone wall or taking care of the garden. And if you feel like it, I’d be happy to share some stories from my 12 years of living in the Canaries! Other things to note 🌿 About the property Located 20 minutes from the towns of Santa María de Guía, Gáldar, and Agaete, and 12 minutes from shops, this property is a true natural retreat. Unmarked hiking trails start right at the gate, perfect for nature lovers and authentic exploration. Access is via a dirt road for the last 150 meters, drivable by car but may be challenging for those not used to mountain roads. 🏖️ Beaches and nature Northern Gran Canaria offers unique beaches: natural pools carved in volcanic rock or sandy beaches at Sardina and Boca Barranco.
