Our lovingly♥ furnished Bijou du Lac, overlooking the beautiful Lake Thun, is the perfect place to unwind after a strenuous hike or after a long sightseeing trip through Interlaken! The pool gives you perfect relaxation and refreshment in summer. In autumn and winter, the hiking and skiing areas of the Jungfrau region are within easy reach. The space Our Bijou (studio apartment, 30m2) can accommodate max. 3 adults only. There is a cozy 160x200 bed available for you to be top fit the next day. Blankets and pillows are of course also available for you. Another bed (90x200) is located on the gallery, which is under a skylight, so you have a nice view of the starry sky before going to sleep. You can enjoy your favourite movie/series on Netflix on the big TV or relax while surfing the high-speed Wi-Fi. If you're in the mood for Super Mario & Co., a Nintendo retro console is also waiting for you. The bright kitchen is equipped with everything you need to take care of yourself for a few days. Some basics such as oil & vinegar, spices, coffee and tea are also available to you. You can also find a mini oven and fondue caquelon in our Bijou. A shower awaits you in the small but nice bathroom. Fresh shower and hand towels, good-smelling care products and a hair dryer with a lot of power are also available for you! The pool is open from June to August in fine weather. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor without elevator and without balcony. Unfortunately, we don't have a safe place to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out. Guest access The former Hotel Du Lac was closed some time ago It is therefore very quiet in the area, some private individuals live in the area. You can park your vehicle at the parking lot of the former Hotel Du Lac. We will provide you with a free parking card. The Därligen Dorf bus stop is just a few minutes walk from the bijou. Bus runs hourly towards Interlaken Ost. We recommend that you arrive by car. Other things to note ** GOOD TO KNOW ** ** The apartment is located in the Du Lac area. The "Du Lac" area is located on the Thun–Spiez–Interlaken railway line. Occasional train journeys are therefore audible. You can reach Interlaken by bus in about 15–30 minutes, depending on the connection. The bus runs every hour (with a reduced timetable in the evening). ** Unfortunately, we cannot make a washing machine available. ** The apartment does not have air conditioning. However, for hot days, 2 fans are available to make it as comfortable as possible. ** Luggage storage before and after check-out is not possible unfortunately. ** 🚿 Please note bathroom use Please make sure that no water gets to the floor outside the shower area. Our bathrooms are not designed for water to run all over the floor. Be sure to install your own hoses or attachments – this is not allowed and will automatically incur a cost assumption by the guest in the event of damage. If water goes next to it, please wipe up immediately to avoid damage. Note: Damage due to improper use (e.g. flooding, water damage to the floor or furniture, and unauthorized installations) will be charged to you in full. ** Insects 🐞 Note – Nature Included 💚 Our apartments are located in some of the most beautiful natural regions of Switzerland – on the lake, in the mountains or surrounded by greenery. With this special location, it can happen from time to time that even small visitors from nature show up. ☀️ Despite thorough and regular cleaning, insects such as mosquitoes, spiders or bugs may get lost in the apartment – especially in summer or when windows are open. For your comfort we provide insect spray and – where possible – screens. Please note: This is not a sign of lack of cleanliness, but is simply part of it when you have nature right outside the door. 🌿 If you love nature, you will feel comfortable with us. If you want an absolutely insect-free environment, a city hotel might be the better choice. 😉 Thank you for understanding and a wonderful stay! 💛
