Description
The Lodge is the two storey annexe of Heath Park which was one of the holiday homes of Beatrix Potter. It is within easy walking distance of the rail station and intercity bus stop. A car parking space is also adjacent to the house. The Lodge has been recently refurbished with a new ensuite bathroom and kitchen and new furniture. It is accessed through the main gates of Heath Park which lead to a stone gateway and small hard landscaped area. The space there is a bedroom, separate wc and ensuite bathroom on the ground floor. Winding stairs lead to a landing which is a dining area. The kitchen is accessed from the landing which leads to the sitting room. The sitting room has views of sunset over Craigie Barns. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to The Lodge and can store bikes in the small hardstanding area outside the door. Other things to note The Lodge is accessed via a beautiful single track road. There is a hairpin bend which should be taken as a 3 point turn on the large flat area to the rear of the bend. During heavy snow falls or ice, visitors may prefer to leave their car in the village or at the railway car park which is only a short distance from the house. The property is licensed by Perth and Kinross (reg no. PK11752F) and has an EPC rating of D.
