This is a peaceful, friendly home filled with character. The architecture of Governors Gate complete with duck pond, adds to the tranquil neighbourhood. The house, patio and garden is beautifully decorated. Hillsborough park is less than 5 minutes walk .The Balmoral Show is an extremely popular global event and we are 7 minutes drive from the venue. Guest access Guests have the top floor of this three storey home as well as access to the kitchen, laundry, garden and bathroom with tub. The top floor consists of a double bedroom, en-suite shower room and a separate room with a sofa, desk and TV. The Bedroom has a trouser press, drawer space, mirrors and bed side lights. There is also a single pull out bed if required. There is a second bathroom available to guests with a large bath tub. Bath robes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and towels will be supplied. The kitchen is accessible with a dining area and a breakfast bar. There is also wifi available. During your stay I will always be available at Check In to show you around and happy to answer any questions you may have. Other things to note There is also a local golf course, and we are only a 30 minutes drive from the beautiful Mourne Mountains. Lisburn leisure centre , swimming pool , cinema and bowling alley are 4miles ( 8 mins ) away. Hillsborough castle has guided weekend tours and hosts the largest rhododendron in Europe. Presidents , Ministers and Royalty have all stayed there and still do . Location is perfect for those visiting the Eikon centre . Hillsborough Oyster Festival is always popular in September and the Sunflower festival .
