Description
The Stable House is a converted 18th century stable, on the historic Scorrier Estate. The private house has a large open-plan kitchen which leads onto a stunning old cobbled stable yard with a wood fired hot tub, barbecue and large 'party barn'. Scorrier Estate is home to a famous private garden, complete with swimming pool and sauna which can be booked separately. There are also attractions on the wider estate, including paintball, survival workshops and more. The space The Stable House has five en-suite bedrooms sleeping 10. While staying at Stable House you will have a fully equipped kitchen and a large seating area. There is a large barn in the cobbled yard with a hot tub and loads of space for barbecues and parties. There is private parking immediately in front of the Stable House. All bedrooms have towels and linen provided. Wi-fi is available throughout the house. There is a washing machine in the downstairs bathroom. Scorrier House swimming pool and sauna are available for private hire by arrangement with Scorrier House. Guest access You will have access to the entire house as well as the cobbled stable yard where there is a wood-fired hot tub, barbecue and outdoor table and chairs. On request, you can tour Scorrier's historic garden. This is a very famous Cornish garden that is not normally open to the public. Other things to note We will stock the kitchen with basic provisions (bread, butter, milk, tea, sugar) but the rest is up to you. The village of Scorrier has two pubs - the Fox and Hounds is a 10 minute walk down our driveway. There are also excellent restaurants nearby in St Agnes, Truro and Falmouth. There are dozens of beaches within easiest reach. Porthtowan is 3 miles away but there are plenty more. Please ask for recommendations.
