Description
Stylish Shepherds Cabin in the heart of the Cotswolds. Free-standing full sized bath, king size bed, two seater sofa and great views. This is as good as camping in the woods gets, no electricity but hot water, plenty of candles and gas to cook on. The space This romantic getaway has all you need for a weekend away or a short break. Less than 2 hours from London and an hour from Bristol the Shepherds Cabin is in the heart of the Cotswolds. At the head of the Slad valley, made famous by Laurie Lee's books, especially Cider with Rosie, this idyllic part of the world has changed little since his time. The walk to the Woolpack pub takes an hour and a half and takes you through an unspoilt valley with no houses or humans for the first hour. Or you can drive in 7 minutes. The cabin has hot and cold running water, NO ELECTRICITY, but plenty of candles and torches. Regarding the corona virus: Please be aware that this is a "rustic" camping style experience. We will clean and sanitize the cabin between guests but if you are in a high risk category and/or expecting a surgically sterile cabin then this is not the place for you at the moment. Guest access Glorious Cotswold countryside. Peace and quiet. Plenty of space to park and walk down to the Shepherds Cabin we will show you around and leave you to it. If you need it there is full 4G phone reception but why not just leave it in the car. Other things to note The cabin does not have electricity. But it has everything you need including a heater and proper flushing toilet.
