Villa in Bagni di Lucca

Puccini house is developed on 2 floors, it has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (1 with a bath, 1 with a shower, 1 with only WC and sink), a kitchen, a dining room and a large sitting room with a fireplace. The Puccini also has it's own private garden, directly communicating though a door with the larger villa garden, with access to the river. The houses next door, Byron and Teresa, can be rented at the same time, the whole villa can receive up to 18 people. The space Accommodation is for 5 people. Bed sheets, blankets and towels are provided. Wifi is available in all rooms. There is an outside sitting area available. Cars can be parked inside the property. On request we can provide a room for elderly or people with limited mobility. Please ask me for more info. Just next door to the property there is a Tennis club. You can rent a court or have lessons for a reasonable amount. The house has no swimming pool, but the garden has a private access to a mountain river, called La Lima that is clean and cool even in full summer. The river has a gentle flow and is very shallow, so it is safe for kids to use, but we do recommend supervision for smaller kids. To help you choose and be as accurate as possible about the Villa, here are things our guests liked or didn't like: Old furniture: our guests liked the history and the charming atmosphere of the villa, the books in italian, french and english available in every room, the feeling of old time passing by. But some guest were disappointed by the chairs not being solid enough, or didn't like the old furniture. Don't rent it if you are looking for a modern house. Position of the Villa: it's in the center of the Bagni di Lucca village, and many guest liked the idea of being just 5 minutes walking distance from a cafe, restaurant or supermarket, no need to use a car. Two of the bedrooms are on the garden side, so there is no noise from the road, just the gentle flow of the river. However, one single room is on the road side, and you will occasionally hear a car driving by. It's a local road, with limited circulation, but if you look for absolute silence, make sure you sleep on the river side.
