Cosy, Characterful Cottage close to Beach

Gorgeously renovated 4 bedroom Tudor cottage that's a 3 minute walk to the beach! Enjoy beautiful Broadstairs' 7 sandy bays, restaurants, bars & the famous Morelli's Ice Cream parlour- all a stroll from our seaside cottage. With a fitted kitchen, large dining room, Tudor-beamed sitting room, two bathrooms, cottage garden & courtyard, inglenook fireplace & wood-burner, Heals towels & hotel quality linen, you can relax in style. The space The house is welcoming of well-behaved pets, although we ask that they stay on the spacious ground floor of the property. The spiral stairs (pictured) are romantic and evocative of the age but sadly may be challenging for the very elderly or infirm. There is no dedicated parking but you can always unload just outside and park on the streets nearby. Both this property and our other airbnb in Spain are rated 5 stars and we enjoy super host status- you are in safe hands! GROUND FLOOR Sitting Room - the Tudor beamed sitting room with its huge inglenook fireplace and wood-burning stove makes this a unique and welcoming place to holiday all year round. With two sofas and a rocking chair, you can relax with our board games and books, watch the Smart TV with the ability to watch Netflix, Amazon etc. or just enjoy relaxing in front of the fire! Dining Room - a large dining space with a big table to seat eight easily, plus two comfy high-backed chairs, and secret feature - a painting above the fireplace that slides across to reveal the glassware! Kitchen - a modern fitted kitchen with all the usual features, including a built-in microwave and slimline dishwasher, kettle and toaster. Back garden - a small country cottage garden with flowers and an eight-seater bench for lunches in the sun. Courtyard - a cosy enclosed courtyard with table and chairs for four to perhaps enjoy an evening drink under the pear tree with the pontoon lights adding to the atmosphere. Downstairs bathroom - a lovely room with a Victorian roll top style bath to luxuriate in (or maybe wash the kids down after a day at the beach!) Utility room - a really useful room with a washer / dryer, extra fridge and freezer, ironing board, sink and a few bits for the beach. FIRST FLOOR Master Bedroom - with timber beams and a fireplace (not in use) this is a romantic room with period furniture, wardrobe space and a kingsize bed. In all of the bedrooms we have provided towels from Heals and ethically-sourced linen also used in the Lanesborough, Limewood, and The Pig and Firmdale hotel groups. Kids' Room - a lovely room with a little porthole in the door (we're at the seaside after all!) and two single beds, plus a trundle bed under one of them as an extra bed in case you need it (this is generally for emergency use only so please let us know in advance if you need this) Main bathroom - a large and modern bathroom with plenty of space and a large shower with rainfall shower head. TOP FLOOR Double room - a cosy cottage room with a double bed, hanging space for clothes and a very blue chair to help you channel your inner artist. King room - overlooking the town and with a view of the sea, this room has a king sized bed, wardrobe space, reading lamps and a cosy chair for enjoying the sunny space. Guest access You will have access to all spaces in the house and garden.
