The Amboise bedroom

The space With an amazing view on the park, due west, you will be able to enjoy some nice sunsets, with the sun reflecting on the pond, and the Amboise castle reflecting on the Loire river. Peace and quiet are keys : no cars will disturb your sleep and your well deserved rest. Early in the morning, you may see some squirrels chasing each other on the lawn or in the trees of the beautiful and vast property. This B&B of 18 square meters can welcome 3 people (quite often a couple with their child). It features a double bed (160X200), and a single bed (80X190). The earthenware bathroom, that includes a bath tub and toilets, is really bright thanks to a big window. The floor in the bedroom is made of ancient parquet. The one in the bathroom has been renovated. The exposed beams are obviously not lacking, and the cob walls make the room really attractive. The ancient pieces of furniture are also adding to the charm of the room, especially a beautiful wardrobe in Louis XIV style. The Amboise bedroom is one of the preferred bedrooms of the manor ! Other things to note How to relax at the la Voûte Manor You won’t have time to get bored in the Châteaux of the Loire valley. Whether you spend a busy day exploring the surroundings or you stay in the property to relax, you will always be able to rest and enjoy your time at the manor. Charming rest! Haven of peace located in a tiny village of 800 inhabitants, the Voûte manor gives you the opportunity to enjoy a 1.5 ha park, where you could relax, read a book or have a drink in the shade of a rare and beautiful 300-year-old cedar tree. There are also a lot of different trees and flowers to be discovered in the park… On rainy or cloudy days, or if you simply prefer to stay at the manor, the luxurious and big living room is available for you and your family. We even make fire in the fire place during winter! On-site and close by activities! •On site: For sun and sport lovers, you will be able to enjoy the superb swimming pool (15 x 5 meters), heated at 27° Celcius, due South, with a view on the village’s church, which bells will ring each hour (until 10pm!). In one of the houses of the property, a playroom is open to everyone: kids and also adults can enjoy playing ping pong or foosball games. A petanque set is also available for guests to play in the park alleys. In the orchard, the crossbar is usually really liked by children (under parents’ supervision!). •Close by: As the Loire, the Cher is walkable by foot (there are several trails starting at the manor) or by bike. As of 2017, marked out trails will let you explore the surroundings to better understand the previous centuries and their castles: Chenonceau, Chaumont Sur Loire, Cheverny, Montpoupon are all located less than 20km away from the Voûte Manor, and can be reached via trails and small roads in the middle of the country, vineyards and forests, where cars are rare, even in August. We are offering brand-new bikes rentals, for half days, full days or several days, depending on how adventurous you are! Ball lovers will be able to play in the village’s tennis court, a 5-minute walk from the manor, for a reasonable price.
