Situated in pristine Cotswold countryside with panoramic views and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are the very best Cotswold AIR BNB, not just an experience - a delight from check in to check out. The space 750 Sq ft over the two floors with underfloor heating throughout , double glazed windows, reclaimed oak floorboards, stone flags in kitchen. Bespoke fitted kitchen with Neff oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge with integral small freezer. Double ended roll-top bath with hand shower, loo and sink. Sitting room with a wood-burning fire and a good supply of dry local wood and kindling. Mod Cons: Smart TV with Netflix. Unlimited WiFi Internet (200Mbps upstream and downstream) SAGE- Nespresso compatible; expresso, capuccino latte machine. A seasonal BBQ, garden furniture, loungers, umbrella and outdoor cushions. A wood fired Dutchtub can be filled but must be requested in advance of your stay as it is shared with our other bnb property, although your session is private and uninterrupted, hence need for prior booking. Please note- Due to the current spiralling water costs and energy costs each session is an additional £100 to your bill. Heatwaves and hosepipe bans prevent us from using in extreme weather times. **** Happy evenings can be spent counting the stars providing 24 hours of fun in or out of the tub. Private off road gated Parking. Guest access Enjoy 2 garden tables and 4 chairs, 2 sun loungers and a Weber BBQ ready to light in summer season. A large bench on the middle terrace of the garden, just perfect to enjoy the big night sky and stars. Sitting outside day or evening is a peaceful and relaxing way to enjoy our spectacular views, garden meadows and contemplate a natural life. There is nowhere quite like Far Oakridge and all our friends and family continue to be overcome by the woodland and peace of the place. A real tonic in this hectic life. Cleaning is carried out two mornings during your weekly stay ( 7 days and more ) and the gardens fully maintained although supporting natural habitats for wildlife is our primary consideration. A wood fired Dutch tub is located in the garden and available if booked in advance of your stay. During heatwaves and water shortages this is not a facility that can be enjoyed. Risks of fire and hosepipe bans are always a priority. It takes 4 hours to fill and with lid on will remain warm for 24 hours. A supply of wood comes with the day and evening session. Please note- It is shared with our other bnb property although your 24 hours is private and uninterrupted. The cost of hiring is £100. Our gardens overlook the open fields below with intermittent sheep and horses grazing, are naturally landscaped between our home, our second guest bnb cottage, sleeping up to 5 guests in 2.5 bedrooms. A perfect addition if seeking more accommodation- both nestled beautifully within our garden domain. Magical spaces to hideaway with numerous trees to sit under, views to die for. We use the far side of the garden during your stay and your only visitor will be the dog doing his rounds. We are super friendly but busy professional people whom carry on with their daily family, business affairs- always here if you need us. Most guests enjoy our local knowledge and are keen to tap into a chat here or there, finding us highly agreeable and amusing as a family. Do come and see us and enjoy woodpeckers, kestrels, wrens, deer in the fields below and the abundant bees, butterflies and occasional dragonflies busy pollinating flowers in the garden.
