Kimberley Cottage, Chideock

Kimberley cottage is a cosy but spacious property in Chideock,on the dramatic Jurassic coast. The beach is just a 3/4 mile walk away and Golden Cap, the highest point on the SW coast can be walked to from the back garden in half an hour. The property consists of 3 large bedrooms, dining room, 2 bathrooms and a lounge with an open fire. There are Incredible views of the surrounding hills from the garden, lounge and rear bedroom. The space Kimberley is a large traditional cottage full of charm. There are 2 king sized bedrooms upstairs in the original part of the building along with a family bathroom. Downstairs in the converted forge there is a further king size bedroom and shower room. All rooms are large enough to easily fit in a travel cot( available free of charge). The dining room easily seats 6 people which leads into the fully equipped kitchen. The cosy living room with bay window and open fire has a flatscreen tv along with a full SKY tv package including a big choice of movies! The garden wraps around the property and is enclosed with 360 views over the surrounding countryside and has garden furniture to seat 6. The garden has a waist height fence the entire way around so is safe for children and dogs. There are a few toys available for young kids (in the dresser in dining room), board games, books and DVDs for guests to enjoy. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house and gardens. Parking for 3 cars inc inside the forge. The property is set back from the main road, up a driveway and the neighboring cottage is between Kimberley Cottage and the road. As for physical access, there are 3 steps to the front and back door and although we have a downstairs bedroom and shower room, there is 3 steps to the bedroom Other things to note Guests are welcome to use the open fire. We do not provide wood but if some has been left by previous guests please feel free to use, otherwise there is plenty available locally. Please leave the window slightly ajar for health and safety reasons. It is quite near the road, though up a driveway so not directly, it is something to note. The kitchen has a under counter fridge freezer which we find sufficient for a holiday let but please bear this in mind if doing an extra large shop before your stay
