Our Villa! Is our pride ! Traditional Villa Nasia is a peace of art. The house has been bulid from my father Kleovoulos from stone and wood , like the traditional housing in Kalathos village! All items have been carefully been choosen and fixed from hand. The view is Spectaculare! From the balcony we overlook the Sea! The villa is fully equipped with A/C, Free Wifi,a full equipped kitchen with espresso machine,all neccessities for cooking, bbq oven, everything you need for easy going holidays. The space The villa is placed in the village of Kalathos, a peaceful village and only 5 minutes from the well known Lindos. Only 800 meters from Kalathos beach. The villa is in the middle of the Island , providing our guests the opportunity to explore Rhodes!The Villa “hides” its own history throughout the time… The Villa was originally built as a simple house in 1930s and was owned by a family of farmers who stored their annual olive-oil (“ladi” in the Greek language) in a certain space of the house. They themselves produced their annual olive-oil cultivating their own olive-tree fields by using traditional and almost primitive means for the collection of the fruit-olives! Because of the word “ladi”, the main product of the household after the second world war, the house was then called “ladiko”. But let’s go on with the history of the today’s Villa. This farming family apart from olive-trees they also cultivated in the fields all kinds of vegetables and greens with which they fed their animals and filled up their daily household table during hard times of poverty!!! A little later this house was slightly modified by the grandparents of this farming family. When the grandparents of the family deceased, the youngest successors of the house sold the house in order to turn it into a more modern house. However, the modernization of the house was not achieved so it was again sold to one more owner until the year 2000. Here comes my father!!! One day as my father was strolling within the village roads, he saw the house and “fell in love with it at first sight”!! Straightaway, in his mind he then re-designed the house and started thinking of its nowadays terrific renovation! After thinking and planning, he finally managed to buy the house with great financial difficulty!! However, he could not afford reconstruction and renovation costs so he decided to make all the construction and renovation wor Ιk with his own hands despite the fact that he was not a specialized construction worker since his profession is electrician and Italian Kitchen Chef!!! But he, all by himself, he alone constructed and renovated the house because it’s true that he is talented, he has a special “charisma”, a given gift! He can construct anything he will think of, because he can process on and work with all kinds of materials!!! So, he started the house reconstruction and renovation with so much passion and love so that today when you enter the area you can feel this aura of tranquility and peace around, of course in combination with the materials used in the house, which were stone, wood and iron, adding to this also the fantastic Villa’s view!!! While sitting in the balcony of the Villa your gaze is lost in the endless blue of the Aegean Sea something that offers relaxation not only physical but mainly spiritual, body, mind and soul!!!
