Beautiful Coach house in Pilton

Beautiful and lovingly renovated Coach House in the heart of Pilton village, set in the lush private grounds of our family home. Two double bedrooms, one with free-standing roll top bath (option to add an extra bed/cot for a child); shower room; large open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room, with two sets of double doors leading to a private outdoor dining terrace (with BBQ & fire pit); view and shared use of our paddock with rope swing, baby swing and trampoline for children. The space The Coach house is adjacent to our family home and dates from the early eighteenth century. The surrounding 1.5 acre paddock has an abundance of beautiful mature trees, as well as plenty of room to roam. We have a culvert, complete with Monet bridge. The building has been carefully renovated, retaining many original features whilst offering modern comforts, and is furnished with a thoughtful blend of antique and bespoke furniture. We provide hotel quality linen and bedding, as used by The Pig and Firmdale hotels. The well appointed kitchen, complete with large Rangemaster cooker (with gas hobs/electric ovens) and large fridge/freezer, leads onto the south-west facing terrace, perfect for summer dining. In the cooler months, there is plenty of space to cosy up indoors and the flagstone floor has top of the range underfloor heating. Upstairs, in keeping with the original age of the property, we have reclaimed, solid oak flooring throughout. The Coach house has fast Wi-Fi, a Smart TV and a Bluetooth speaker. We have a washing machine and tumble dryer and if you have little ones, we can provide a high chair, travel cot, kids' crockery & cutlery and a basket of toys & books. Tea, coffee, olive oil, sugar, salt and pepper all in stock. On arrival, there will be a pint of organic milk (dairy free if you prefer) and a loaf of fresh bread. If you want to order an online shop to be delivered prior to your stay, we will happily put it away for you.
