Farm stay in Baldwin City

Our 125 year old barn has been rehabbed to provide a beautiful retreat center. There is a community kitchen, large eating area, shared bathroom, wifi and two private bedrooms. We are in the woods on 95 acres. The space For over 29 years The Light Center has provided a sacred sanctuary for people to gather away from the cities in a beautiful, natural environment. We offer hiking trails, yurts, camping and space for all kinds of retreats. We have sweat lodges and other ceremonies at different times of the year. Guest access The first floor only is open and available for our private room guests and provides a cozy inviting space for your enjoyment. We ask that guests stay within designated spaces for the safety of other guests and our residents. The barn is rustic, but has A.C. and heating. During your stay We will be here to greet you and there will be someone present on site most of the time during your stay. Other things to note We are about 12.5 miles outside of Baldwin City, KS. So, we are about 20 minutes to the nearest gas station and 25 minutes to Lawrence. The last 4.5 miles to our farm is on gravel roads no matter which direction you come from and the cell service is really spotty out here. It's best to set your GPS before you leave and not try to set it once you get out this way. When you arrive, you can use our wifi in the barn (pw on the refrigerator).
