Rural Countryside Retreat

Situated in a quiet rural country lane, Le Petit Coin offers comfortable, homely bed and breakfast accommodation. Guests have their own entrance and spacious private guest tv lounge. Free parking on site. Also a safe outside area for bicycles. PlNo smoking is allowed anywhere at Le Petit Coin, garden or surrounding area. Please respect our neighbour and ourselves by being quiet after 10.30pm. We have travelled quite a bit & are always keen to meet people from different walks of life. We are an active retired couple. I enjoy gardening, swimming, various crafts & walking with our dog on the cliff paths. This area is good for walking & cycling. We are 5 mins walk to the fabulous rugged north coast cliff paths. The picturesque bay of Bonne Nuit is 30 mins walk down the cliff path. From the path you can take in the views across to France and the other Channel Islands. A little further along this coastline is Bouley Bay and Rozel Bay. Between March and October Bonne Nuit Beach Cafe has lovely home made food & offers tasty Thai cuisine in the evenings & you can take your own wine! All year round our newly refurbished local pub The Trinity Arms, serves meals. It has a very nice inside and outside eating area. We are 10/15 mins walk to the nearest bus stops which will take you into the capital, St Helier. Buses in this rural area run hourly (route number 5) and 2 hourly (route number 4). We are 5 mins drive to the world famous Durrell Wildife Park. We are also on one of the many pretty island cycle routes. (Cycle route number 1) (Please note this is the higher side of the island so inevitably, there are some hills !) Between March and October we provide a good continental breakfast, including daily home baked fresh croissants each morning. JAN AND FEB are on a room only basis. A tea/coffee tray is in your bedroom at all times. We have free parking onsite and a safe area for bicycles. Guest access You have your own door key & can access Le Petit Coin at any time. Please remember to keep your front door locked at all times, thank you. You are welcome to make yourself at home in the cosy private guest tv lounge where you can relax and put your feet up on the reclining sofas after a hard day's sight seeing. Your areas inside the house include the lounge, hall and stairs up to your bedroom and bathroom. There is also a small patio area outside with table and chairs for your use, directly accessed from your lounge - please respect our neighbour by being quiet after 10.30pm. Please remember to close and lock the patio door when not in use. The remainder of the garden is private. Thank you During your stay We are happy to help you with local information of any kind. We are a busy, active couple & are usually out and about during the day. Other things to note Jersey is renowned for it's beautiful scenery and fabulous choice of eateries. We are happy to help you make your choices if required! There are several nice places to eat in our area. The closest for walking to being Trinity Arms (a pleasant, slightly over one mile walk through the country lanes.) For detailed bus route information please check online with the local bus company Liberty bus. PLEASE NOTE we are on bus route numbers 4 and 5. The 5 is hourly and the 4 is two hourly to and from St Helier.
