Newly refurbished smallest house in Lymington. This 400 year old property has lots of character and charm, with a peaceful private garden. Cosy living space, wifi, smart TV, kitchen and bathroom with large shower, bedroom with kingsize bed. Conveniently located close to the town centre and railway station, and walking distance to both Marinas. It also includes a lockable undercover storage area for two bikes for exploring the New Forest. The space Newly completed in June 2021 after eight months of renovation. Keeping the original character and charm from this 400 year old outbuilding, using local resources and materials from timber mills of The New forest, to local scrap yards. As well as up cycled decorative original features throughout. The accommodation is suitable for two guests, and is not suitable for children or animals. On arrival there is one parking space directly outside the house. The Cot is accessed by a coded key safe, which is to the left of the front door by the store. On the ground floor is a living area, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, grill, hob , under counter fridge with box freezer, kettle, and toaster. Also provided is crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils. The Cot does not have a washing machine, but if you are staying for a while and need to do some washing there is a laundrette located five minutes walk away. There are two fire alarms located on the ground floor and one in the bedroom, as well as a fire extinguisher and blanket in the kitchen. Our electrical safety certificate is up to date with all appliances and sockets tested by a qualified electrician. There are no gas appliances in The Cot. The living area has a comfortable sofa for two, with a foot stool, a flat screen Smart TV with access to Netflix and catchup apps. Unlimited Wifi is provided. The bathroom has a spacious shower, heated towel rail, WC, basin and shaver socket. Large towels and toilet rolls are provided. A stair case leads to the upstairs bedroom. Please note, the stairs are open.i.e. there is not a door at the top or bottom. The bedroom has a vaulted ceiling exposing beautiful wooden beams. There is a king size bed, a built in wardrobe with compact hanging space and two shelves as well as a travel iron, ironing board, drying rack and hair dryer. The Cot is heated by electric radiators which are preprogrammed to provide a comfortable temperature during the winter and can be altered using the controller provided.
