Description

WINNER of three RIBA Awards 2021 & ranked second out of eleven best Airbnb's in Bristol by Time Out magazine, a jewel hidden behind an Edwardian wall. The Corten Steel exterior peeps over the corner of one of the city's friendliest little streets lined with quirky cafes, award winning restaurants, and a delightful butcher & baker. Two double bedrooms, a lounge sofabed & a private roof garden overlooking the Mina Road park - the house has been finished and equipped to the highest standards. The space Brand new building, designed by prize-winning Bristol-based Barefoot Architects, on a former derelict site, with a challenging shape. The house has received the prestigious RIBA South West Award 2021, RIBA Small Project of the Year 2021 & RIBA Project Architect of the Year 2021 Direct entry from the street into an attractively bricked patio. The house is built on a raised ground floor, with floor to ceiling windows looking out. Interior design with taste and consideration. The ground floor includes a double bedroom, a superbly equipped open plan kitchen with breakfast bar and a beautiful wooden dining table. The bathroom has a bath and a walk-in shower. The lounge with large screen television has a double sofa bed. On the first floor is a second bedroom, also double, with an en suite wet room. Upstairs access to a roof garden with planters and greenery, overlooking Mina Park and Mina Road. All linens and towels are top quality. The house is fully equipped with flat screen smart television (BBC licence), unlimited fast WiFi, flat screen TV in the living rooms, and smart TV in both bedrooms, underfloor heating, hob/oven, microwave, kettle fridge/freezer, toaster, bath/shower and washing machine/dryer. Skylights flood the kitchen and bathroom with natural light. Electric sockets with USB charger in all rooms. Free street parking. (no onsite parking) Guest access Guests are welcome to use the entire house and our roof garden. We have provided a black cover for the outdoor furniture. If you can’t see it on the roof it may be inside the roof shed! Other things to note The house has two double bedrooms, and a double sofabed in the living room. PARKING: St Werburghs is totally free to park which means wherever there is a space you can take it. There are usually spaces in the roads next to and opposite the house on two residential roads. I can’t promise a space obviously but my daughter drives every day and always finds a space on either road (she lives next door)
