The Perfect Escape! Pure Nature and Charm

A beautiful and stylishly decorated country house on the outskirts of the pretty white village of Algatocin, in the stunning Serrania de Ronda. It is considered by many to be the most beautiful house in the area. It has spectacular views of the surrounding mountains: total comfort and tranquillity with all the benefits of being close to the village. This is a house of unique charm. The space The house is set in the heart of a forest of indigenous trees on the slopes of a mountain. It is a perfect place for nature lovers and there is a quiet, serene atmosphere. The guests who most enjoy staying here are dynamic, adventurous, easy-going and open-minded folk who enjoy walking, painting, yoga and being immersed in nature. There is a very large kitchen, the bedrooms are spacious and there are 3.5 kilometres of land so you can always have privacy. There are many outdoor spaces to enjoy. The house is full of light with large windows which can be left open to benefit from the breeze. There are stairs leading to the house. The land around the house is quite steep so it is most appreciated by people who like to exercise and are fairly fit. We have two dogs and two cats who are part of our family and we ask they be treated with respect as this is their home. Depending on the length of your stay, we may ask you to feed our cats if we are away from the property. If necessary, we can arrange for someone else to do this. This is a wonderful place in the magical Valle del Genal which is an undiscovered gem. Guest access There is plenty of free parking here. Many guests like to walk to and from the village as it is such a pretty track and then just bring their cars when it is necessary (with shopping etc..) It is best to explore the surrounding areas by car or bicycle. There is some public transport by bus to and from Ronda and La Linea. If you do not have a car, we can offer pick up services for an extra charge from Algatocin, Ronda, Estepona, Malaga or the airport. Other things to note We do not have a 'pool' as such, rather it is an 'aljibe' - a tank with rain water and spring water (and no chlorine!) for our fruit trees and vegetable garden. It is perfect for a refreshing dip but not for doing laps! We ask guests to shower first so that the water can remain as pure as possible. There are two attractive Olympic-sized swimming pools close to us - one 10 minutes' walk away and one a 15 minute drive away in a beautiful neighbouring village. Both are used almost exclusively by locals and have a very pleasant atmosphere and there are generally just a handful of people there - both fantastic options for swimming, having a drink, reading or just hanging out in spectacular spots and contemplating the views.
