Cherrywood Cottage

Cherrywood is a quaint wooden cottage with a big private natural garden, ideal for a quick getaway an hour from Cape Town. Situated 150m from the sea and 1,5km from the town centre with shops, restaurants and bars. Pringle Bay boasts stunning snorkeling and diving, beautiful hiking and biking routes and great surfing and fishing spots. It is centered in the world renowned Kogelberg Fynbos Biosphere and Cape Peninsula Coral Gardens. The space Our cottage has been in the family for over 30 years. It belonged the town's land surveyor's daughter before we bought it, making it one of the first houses in Pringle Bay. He was paid in land and chose our plot as it is protected from the South Easter There are two outside braai areas. One is built in on a South facing veranda but is well sheltered by a wall and trees. The second (the family favorite pictured below) is a mobile braai on wheels which is on a North Western facing veranda with a sea view and and is sheltered on the Eastern side by the house. This veranda is the best place to be when the South Easter blows. The house also features an inside fireplace, ideal for winter, but is not really big enough to braai in. Guest access You will have private access to the entire cottage. The veranda is protected from the neighbours by fynbos and indigenous vegetation Other things to note Dogs are allowed with prior arrangement. Please bring their own beds
