Dairy Cottage: one-level, log fire, dogs welcome

Dairy Cottage is a single-storey stone cottage in the peaceful hamlet of Williamscot, four miles from Banbury and the M40. Big rooms, a king bed, a bath and shower, a log burner and a piano, with your own front door on a gated drive and level access from the car. Sleeps up to four with the sofa bed. Dogs welcome: our fields, orchard and woodland are on the doorstep, along with the donkeys. Good wifi and a desk for working. Ideal for Silverstone, Bicester Village, Oxford and Warwick. The space Everything is on one level, with generous proportions and a rustic, homely style. The bedroom has a king-size bed and leads to a bathroom with bath and electric shower. The large living room has a wood-burning stove, a sofa bed and a single day bed for extra guests, and a piano (old, a little out of tune, and much loved by guests). The kitchen has everything you need to cater for your stay, plus a washing machine and tumble dryer. A basket of logs, kindling and matches is waiting for you (further baskets £7). Heating is by efficient electric heaters with simple timer controls, so the cottage is warm when you get back. Please set them to timed rather than constant when you go out. Guest access Your own front door and parking space, reached through the gated drive (you'll have a fob for the gate), with level access from the car to the door. Acres of fields, orchard and woodland to walk in, shared with our sheep, goats and donkeys. Other things to note Cannons Yard is a working smallholding, so expect animals about and the odd early-morning bleat. The drive is shared with our house but the cottage is completely private. Dogs are very welcome. Please keep them on a lead near the animals, and note that the lane leads to a fast main road.
